Privacy Policy
I. Privacy Policy of Nova-Vision Sp. z o.o.
1. On the basis of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: the "GDPR"), we inform you that the controller of your personal data is Nova-Vision Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, with its registered office in Warsaw 00-687, ul. Wspólna 63B lok. 2, NIP: 7010679178, REGON 366943436, registered in the National Court Register under No. KRS 0000671851 (hereinafter: the "Controller").
2. The Controller also informs you that you have the right:
- a) to withdraw consent; the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal; consent may be withdrawn at any time (Art. 7 sec. 3 GDPR);
- b) of access to personal data (Art. 15 GDPR);
- c) to request the rectification of data (Art. 16 GDPR);
- d) to erasure, i.e. the "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17 GDPR);
- e) to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
- f) to object to the processing of personal data (to the extent that the basis for processing your personal data is the premise of a legitimate interest) (Art. 21 GDPR).

3. Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
- a) the provision by the Controller of the services offered by it (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b) GDPR);
- b) direct marketing of products or services by means of electronic and telephone communication – the basis being your consent (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a) GDPR);
- c) direct marketing of products and services, including profiling – the legal basis being the legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f) GDPR);
- d) analytical and statistical purposes – the legal basis being the necessity of the processing for the pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f) GDPR);
- e) direct marketing of products and services based on the legitimate interest of the Controller is limited to a single contact with an enquiry about consent to present an offer, to the e-mail address obtained from your website or from information available on internet portals (e.g. CEIDG, websites and directories advertising your company).
4. Your personal data will be stored:
- a) as regards the provision of services, the personal data will be processed until the expiry of the warranty and guarantee periods arising from the concluded agreement(s). The personal data may, however, be processed for longer if this results from generally applicable provisions of law;
- b) in the case of sending commercial information by electronic means or telephone contact in order to present an offer – until you withdraw your consent or lodge an objection to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes, whereby, in the absence of your response to the single contact with an enquiry about consent to present an offer, no longer than 3 months from our enquiry;
- c) as regards analytical and statistical purposes – until you lodge an objection.
5. Your personal data may be transferred to entities processing personal data on behalf of the Controller, including subcontractors or IT service providers, whereby these entities process the data on the basis of an agreement with the Controller and solely in accordance with the Controller's instructions.
6. Your personal data will not be transferred to international organisations or to recipients located in countries outside the European Economic Area.
7. The provision of personal data in connection with the provision of services is voluntary but necessary in order to provide the services. Failure to provide the data results in the impossibility of concluding an agreement and thereby of providing the services. The provision of data for the remaining purposes (with the exception of the fulfilment of a legal obligation) is voluntary.
8. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority dealing with the protection of personal data, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (https://uodo.gov.pl/pl).
II. Cookies
1. During your first visit to our website, Users are shown information about the use of cookies. Our website, like most websites, uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files, saved in the memory of the computer and assigned to the browser used by the User. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the terminal device and a unique number.
2. Cookies do not cause configuration changes to the device and the software used, and they cannot run any programs or transfer viruses onto the User's device. Thanks to them, the internet offering is more effective for its users.
3. In the event that the website is used by the User solely for the purpose of obtaining information, that is, if the User does not provide personal data in another way, only that data which is transmitted to our server by the User's web browser is collected.
4. While the website is being browsed, data needed for technical reasons is collected, in order to be able to display the website and to guarantee its stability and security. This is the following information:
- a) IP address,
- b) date and time of the request,
- c) time zone difference in relation to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT),
- d) content of the request (the specific page),
- e) access status / http response code,
- f) amount of data transmitted,
- g) website from which the request originates,
- h) browser,
- i) operating system and its interface,
- j) language and version of the browser software.
5. Additionally, in addition to the data listed above, while the website is being used, cookies are saved on the User's computer. Various types of cookies can be distinguished. The website uses first-party cookies, used to ensure its proper operation, and cookies originating from third parties, as well as session cookies (in which, after the end of the given browser's session or the switching off of the computer, the saved information is deleted from the device's memory) and persistent cookies (which are stored in the memory of the user's terminal device and remain there until they are deleted or expire).
6. The above data is not associated with specific persons using the website and is not used for the purpose of identifying the User.
7. We use cookies for the following purposes:
- a) the correct display of the website and its adaptation to your preferences,
- b) creating statistics and improving the content of the website, as well as
- c) personalising marketing information.
8. For the above purposes, we also use tools made available by third parties. This is connected with the use and transfer of cookies to external companies such as: Google LLC and Facebook Inc. Owing to the fact that Google LLC and Facebook Inc have their registered offices in the USA and use technical infrastructure located in the USA, they have joined the EU-US-Privacy Shield program in order to ensure the appropriate level of data protection required by European regulations.
9. The cookies we use expire after a maximum of 24 months.
10. We are not liable for the privacy policy applied by the owners of the domains and websites to which links are placed on our website. We encourage you, before you start using these websites, to familiarise yourself with the relevant documentation concerning the protection of privacy.
11. The basis for the use of cookies is the consent expressed by the User. In accordance with the applicable regulations, this consent may also be expressed by means of the settings of the web browser. In order to find out how to manage cookies, including how to disable their handling in the browser, you should use the relevant instructions found in the help section of the web browser used. Disabling or restricting the handling of cookies may cause difficulties in using the website, as well as many other websites that apply them.
